Finding quality basil in Edmonton during the winter is no small feat. Most grocery stores only offer small, sad packages of the fragrant herb.

But after hunting high and low, I’ve found two stores, Planet Organic and the Italian Centre Shop, that sell bags of basil sure to make you smile. Your pesto will thank me.
